INTERNATIONAL STAY
From the Academic Committee students are encouraged to participate in this subject of educational activity that completes their training research. All students of the doctoral program have the possibility of carrying out a part of the work of research through the mobility program. To this end, the School of Engineering has established a protocol for the approval of international stays for researchers, always seeking that the training is of high level and that it reinforces the lines of scientific interest of the doctoral program. To this end, there is an Advisory committee that analyzes the proposals for stays. This committee is made up of two permanent members and one rotating member, in the event that one of the two permanent members is unable to perform his/her functions at any given time, he/she will delegate his/her function to a professor of the faculty. The rotating member will be, in each case, the director of department of the person requesting the stay or, if he/she is unable to exercise his/her functions, a senior member of the corresponding department . When it is desired to propose an international stay, the candidate will send the proposal to the director of the department with the following information:
-
Duration of stay.
-
Objectives and description of the target group and profile of the supervisor.
-
Cost of the stay (with a breakdown of concepts: travel, accommodation, etc.).
-
Financing possibilities.
-
CV from candidate.
The director of department passes the enquiry to the department of people services, who forwards it to the committee Consultative and if the opinion is favorable the proposal is passed to the board Directive.
