Objectives and competences
The doctoral program in "Communication" aims to provide answers to a number of needs:
- To train new researchers well qualified to analyse with scientific rigour the phenomena and problems characteristic of a society in which social communication, in its different forms, plays an increasingly important role;
- To integrate potential researchers of the future, through research projects, in teams and lines of work with a solid scientific trajectory, and with public relevance;
- Promote the training of new teachers in the disciplines related to this science;
- To improve the professional, scientific and technicaldevelopment of those postgraduates who are interested in this broad and very important field of research;
- To promote basic and applied research into the fundamental issues that arise in relation to the production and organised dissemination of content (news and fiction) in society.
Competences
agreement In accordance with the provisions of article 5 of RD 99/2011, PhD student guarantees the acquisition by the student of the basic competences, personal skills and/or abilities and specific competences of the Programme.
