Access, Admission and Operation
Access and admission to doctoral program in Communication is verified at agreement in accordance with the provisions of articles 6 and 7 of RD 99/2011.
Administrative Procedures

2. Access shall also be granted to those who are in one of the following situations:
agreement a) Hold an official Spanish university degree, or from another country belonging to the European Higher Education Area, which qualifies the holder for access to a Master's degree, in accordance with the provisions of Article 16 of Royal Decree 1393/2007, of 29 October, and have passed a minimum of 300 credits ECTS credit in official university studies, of which at least 60 must be at Master's level.
b) Hold an official Spanish degree of graduate or Graduate, the duration of which, in accordance with the rules of Community law, is at least 300 credits ECTS credit. These graduates must take the complementary training courses referred to in Article 7.2 of this rule, unless the Study program of the corresponding degree of Degree includes research training credits, equivalent in training value to the research credits from Master's studies.
c) University graduates who, after obtaining a place in training in the corresponding test for access to specialized health training positions, have passed with positive assessment at least two years of training in a program for obtaining the official degree scroll of any of the specialties in Health Sciences. d) Holding a degree obtained in accordance with foreign education systems, without the need for its recognition, after verification by the university that it accredits a level of training equivalent to that of the official Spanish Master's degree and that it entitles the holder to access doctoral studies in the country issuing the degree. This admission will not imply, under any circumstances, the homologation of the previous degree held by the interested party nor its recognition for any other purposes than that of access to doctoral studies.
e) Be in possession of another Spanish doctoral degree obtained in accordance with previous university regulations.
f) Be in possession of an official university degree that has obtained the correspondence to level 3 of the framework Spanish Qualifications for Higher Education, from agreement with the procedure established in the Royal Decree 967/2014, of 21 November, which establishes the requirements and the procedure for the homologation and declaration of equivalence to degree and official university academic level and for the validation of foreign studies in Higher Education, and the procedure to determine the correspondence to the levels of the framework Spanish Qualifications for Higher Education of the official degrees of Architect, Engineer, graduate, Technical Architect, Technical Engineer and diploma holder.
Admission to the PhD in Communication will be governed by the specific criteria of the programme, provided that the general admission conditions of the University of Navarra are met. Students who apply to doctoral program part-time must meet the same prior admission requirements requirements , and will follow the same admission procedure as the rest of the students procedure .

This profile require any additional training.

Once the legal requirements for admission have been met, the following admission criteria apply:
1. transcript : This will account for 80% of the evaluation. 2. Professional and Research Experience: This will account for 20% of the evaluation of transcript. Candidates must submit a curriculum vitae detailing their professional and research experience. In evaluating research experience, the following will be taken into account, among other factors: participation in research projects; academic publications; participation in conferences and/or seminars; knowledge dissemination transfer or knowledge dissemination activities; research grants or awards. To assess professional experience, the following factors, among others, will be considered: the relationship between the professional field and the research topic; the level of responsibility and duties performed; the prestige or relevance of the organization; and the skills acquired and applied.
In addition, applicants must submit a statement of purpose explaining their reasons for pursuing the doctorate their researcher interests. This statement will allow the admissions committee to assess the applicant’s intellectual curiosity and desire to deepen their knowledge . The score a candidate must achieve for admission is 50 out of 100.
