goal: The main goal is to detect primary Education students with motor difficulties, who could meet the diagnostic criteria for procedural learning disorder/coordination disorder development .
This project is funded by the State Agency of research (Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities) and summarizes the essence of our group of research Neurodevelopment and Learning:
Contribute to the early detection of procedural learning disorder/ development coordination disorder. This pathology involves marked motor clumsiness, which has a significant influence on daily life, in family, school and social environments. For example, poor handwriting due to a fine motor deficit, spending a lot of time on self-care tasks such as dressing due to slowness, fail Education Physical, being teased in the playground at high school or in the park due to lack of coordination, etc. These difficulties are frequently associated, in addition, to attention deficit, reading problems and visual-spatial integration.
Contribute to development of useful tools for the assessment of the affected schoolchildren.
To increase the diagnosis of this highly unknown and underdiagnosed disorder.
Develop personalized intervention guidelinesto improve the quality of life of these children.
GOALS
01
To validate in the Spanish population the FUNMOVES instrument for the detection of primary schoolchildren with motor difficulties at Education .
02
To identify Education primary schoolchildren with motor difficulties using the Spanish version of FUNMOVES.
03
To explore the diagnostic capability of FUNMOVES in relation to procedural learning disorder/ development coordination disorder (PLD/CDD).
04
Design an individualized intervention plan for schoolchildren detected with possible TAP/TDC.
