What is this course about?
The world we live in is constantly exposed to haste and urgency; our existence is absorbed by activity, barely leaving us enough time to listen to our inner melody. In our lives, we all experience adversity, pain, and loss, and our environment often urges us to be at our best, which easily leads us to hide fears, frustrations, sadness, and inappropriate moods. This becomes even more complex in people who are sensitive, empathetic, intense, deep-thinking, and socially conscious. While these life experiences cause us to break, we can choose to practice Kintsugi, the art of repairing broken or cracked vessels by covering the cracks with gold dust, to transform them into something beautiful and valuable.
Dance Based on Education Sensible (DBES) proposes a pathway To increase the meaning of our lives, balance, harmony, our inner richness, and care for others and our environment. In this course, attention will be paid, through music and dance, to what happens within and outside of ourselves. Affective bridges of silent interaction will be built, from stillness, the heart, and sensitive movement. In a position to breathe the beauty of each moment, the creative process that occurs hand in hand with self-knowledge and the attentive observation of life will unfold, allowing us to emerge from our refuges, inhabit our inner home, flourish, and connect with tenderness.
