Since the appearance of ChatGPT at the end of November 2022, we have been receiving news of the disruptive capacity of these new Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies at all levels.
For those of us who are engaged in the teaching or practice as educators ( high school, university teachers, parents in general), the need for a calm but determined reflection on how the incorporation of AI in learning processes can maximize the benefits while navigating its limitations becomes evident. This new context demands from educators a willingness to reflect on the impact of generative AI on our teaching and methodological strategies for the training of our students. It invites us, at final, to assess the opportunities and challenges posed by the incorporation of AI into the teaching and learning processes.
Objectives:
-
Understand and apply Generative AI in teaching-learning processes: Equip educators with the knowledge necessary to understand what Generative AI is, its impact on teaching-learning processes, and how they can use it effectively and ethically in their educational practices.
-
development of AI-assisted pedagogical strategies: To provide participants with the tools and criteria to integrate AI into Education in a critical and constructive manner, fostering the improvement of the learning experience and innovation at teaching.
-
promote the exchange of experiences and the partnership: To facilitate a space for dialogue and discussion among participants to share experiences, methodologies suitable for these new technological tools, as well as good practices related to the use of AI on the Education.
