Vidiomas is a contest organized by the School of Applied Management (School of Applied Management ) at the University of Navarra. It is open to students ages 15 to 17 from schools around the world.

The 2026–2027 academic year marks the 14th edition of the competition, in which more than 1,600 teams have historically participated. Divided into several phases, the competition offers a variety of prizes; in addition, all students will receive a certificate of participation (diploma ) from the University of Navarra

Registration is open from November 16, 2026, through March 12, 2027, via this formlink. The “ competition ” includes a nominal feefor each team’s “ registration .”

CONNECTING THE WORLD: THE POWER OF LOGISTICS

TOPIC

Connecting the World: The Power of Logistics.
Choose a logistics-related business in your city and analyze how its operations work work (innovation in how products are delivered, sustainability to adapt to new regulations and environmental commitments). Once you’ve chosen one, we encourage you to introduce yourselves and explain project to them.

Prepare a speech in English, French or German. This can be reviewed by the tutor or teacher you have chosen to coordinate your work. Then, record the video explaining, for example, what improvements you have made within your business to offer unique experiences to your customers, or how you have adapted your activity to the new regulations. In the elaboration of the video it is very important that you comply with all the requirements. Also, keep in mind that we will value the use of language and the communication skills of all participants.

PARTICIPANTS

It is aimed at students aged 15 to 17 from schools around the world. Teams must be formed by three or four students. The groups can be composed of students from different schools, but it is recommended the supervision of a tutor to guide in the development of the work. This can be a legal tutor (father, mother) or the school tutor delegate, teacher, etc.).

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

Vidiomas aims, on the one hand, to help students improve their language skill , their communication skills and the use of digital tools and, on the other hand, to develop attitudes such as responsibility, organization, work , effort and creativity.

Registration

From November 16, 2026, to March 12, 2027.

Sending the video

deadline: April 16.

All videos that meet minimum technical quality standards will be published in a playlist on the faculty's YouTube channel.

Voting

From the moment you upload the video to YouTube until May 12 at 8:30 a.m. The “ issue ” of “Likes” on YouTube will account for 25% of the final grade of the work. The remaining 75% will be based on the assessment of the jury, composed of professors from the Degree Degree in Applied Management.

Resolution

The results of the contest will be announced on Monday, May 17, 2027, on the School of Applied Management - School of Applied Management website and its social media channels.

Awards

The top three teams will receive an Amazon gift card worth €250, €150, and €100, respectively. The winning videos will be the three with the highest final score scores, with 75% of the score based on the grade evaluation by the jury—composed of university professors from the Degree in Applied Management—and the remaining 25% based on the issue number of “Likes” received on YouTube.

Diploma

All students who participate and submit a video will receive, at the end of the competition, an accrediting diploma from the University of Navarra.

Invitation

Four invitations to the Introductory University “conference ”*—organized by the University in June 2027 (3 days long; dates to be confirmed)—will be raffled off among all participants.

*The University Introduction " conference " sessions are subject to a minimum number of participants registering at issue . Those who have registered will be notified of whether the sessions will take place or be canceled as soon as possible.

requirements

Teams must upload the video to YouTube.
The video must be recorded in English, French or German.
Teams should consist of three or four members.
The duration will be between 2 and 3 minutes.
All work must be supervised by tutor.
Late submissions will not be accepted.

Instructions

Name the video at Youtube as follows: "Video Name | #Vidiomas27."
Include the following in the video description at fill in : “Video produced by the …… team, consisting of ……, ……, and ……, students at high school/ IES ………………, for the framework of the 14th edition of Vidiomas, a contest organized by the School of Applied Management- School of Applied Management at the University of Navarra.”
The set-up and technical equipment used will be evaluated, but will not be decisive.
It is essential that the video can be heard well.
If it does not meet the minimum quality standards for exposure or is offensive, we reserve the right not to publish it.

Regulation

Videos may not contain offensive images or comments.
It is mandatory to respect the copyright of audio and images; YouTube is responsible for determining whether the requirements at requirements are met.
The organization r reservation s the right not to consider or publish works that do not meet minimum quality standards on its website exhibition or that are offensive.
The organisation reservation has the right to use the works in the broadcasts it deems appropriate.
The tutor endorses the works submitted by his or her students and undertakes to accept the competition instructions .
If the quality of the works received is not sufficient, the award may be declared void.
The organisation of Vidiomas reservation reserves the right to modify the instructions of this competition, in which case the participants will be informed.
