The School of Medicine of the University of Navarra has been teaching the Expert Degree in Immuno-Oncology since the 2014/2015 academic year. The programme, which has the collaboration of Bristol-Myers Squibb, is mainly taught at the Campus of the University of Navarra in Madrid.
The main aim of the Expert Degree in Immuno-Oncology organised by the School of Medicine of the University of Navarra is to provide the professional specialist in Medical Oncology and Haematology with additional specific training in cancer immunotherapy from a theoretical and practical approach goal .
At the end of the programme, student will have an up-to-date view of the immune response against cancer, will know the mechanisms involved in immune response evasion, and will have an overview of pre-clinical and clinical protocols and marketed products that can be offered as prophylaxis or immune therapy against cancer.
