The School of Medicine of the University of Navarra has been teaching the degree scroll Expert in Immuno-Oncology since academic year 2014/2015. The programme has the partnership of Bristol-Myers Squibb, a world leader in drugs for the treatment of cardiovascular and oncological diseases, and is taught mainly at the Campus of the University of Navarra in Madrid.
goal More than 350 alumni have completed a programme whose main aim is to provide the specialist in Medical Oncology and Haematology with an additional specific training in cancer immunotherapy from a theoretical approach and internship.
Thus, at the end of the programme, student will have an updated view of the immune response against cancer, will know the mechanisms involved in the evasion of the immune response and will have an overview of pre-clinical and clinical protocols and marketed products that can be offered as prophylaxis or immunological treatment to fight cancer.
