The Expert Degree in Immuno-Oncology at School of Medicine of the University of Navarra provides students with structured knowledge of the mechanisms of the immune system that underlie the effects of immunotherapy. It also provides them with the ability to critically interpret the results of both immunotherapy research and immunological experimentation in preclinical models and in patients with experimental immunotherapy treatments. 

Furthermore, graduates acquire a knowledge of design and interpretation of immunotherapy clinical trials in patients with various neoplastic diseases, as well as on the tumour microenvironment and its clinical implications in different therapy models. 

Finally, participants will receive specific training on the use and experience of anti-tumour vaccines and immunomodulatory treatments.
