The University- Master's Degree t in Medical Physics offers specialized, integrated “training ” in a real-world hospital setting, with clinical experience in radiation therapy, nuclear medicine, and radiodiagnostics. It combines teaching ,internship, attendance , and research at the facilities of the Clínica Universidad de Navarra, using professional equipment and tools and connecting students with researchers and centers of international reference letter .
Who is it aimed at?
Graduates in Physical Sciences, Industrial Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or Chemistry.
You'll learn using the technology available at the " internship " clinic
A program training —primarily available at internship —based on the flipped classroom model, workshops, and team-based work . You’ll learn to use business planning tools such as RayStation and Monaco, Monte Carlo simulation tools, and real clinical equipment, in small groups with direct access to the equipment.
You'll train where patients are treated
From day one, you’ll be at contact , immersed in a real hospital environment. 85% of the faculty consists of permanent clinical staff at the Clínica Universidad de Navarra, and you’ll complete at least 30 ECTS credit of clinical rotations, in addition to conducting most of your Master’s thesis (TFM) in actual hospital settings.
Conduct research alongside leading international experts in medical physics
You will participate in a weekly “ seminar ” with researchers from international reference letter centers and have the opportunity to join European projects and research networks, such as RAPTOR Plus, which focuses on adaptive proton therapy. This is a career path specialization that can lead to a doctorate.
