It consists of a single subject, instructions of Health Psychology. The students deepen and update the knowledge that forms the basis of what the profession entails. 

The module is composed of 5 subjects:

1. Mental health and disorders: assessment and intervention (21 ECTS credit)

2. Transversal Aspects and Advances in Health Psychology (6 ETCS)

3. Information skills and methods e research of the General Health Psychologist (9 ECTS credit)

4. Elective 1 (3 ECTS credit) (The student will have to choose one subject of this block)

5. Elective 2 (3 ECTS credit) (The student will have to choose one subject of this block)

This module is central to the training offered by the Master's degree, as it is a postgraduate qualification. It is planned in such a way that students apply the theory acquired and carry out a continuous self-assessment of their abilities. The internship period will allow them to progress in their training and at the end of the course, with the guidance of the tutors (at the internship centre and at the University), they will be able to draw up a balance sheet from which to focus their final period of the Master's course.

The subject involves a total of 750 hours of work for the student, which are distributed as follows:

• Seminars on professional excellence, entrepreneurship, research and development+I, solidarity and social commitment.

• Preparatory courses for professional practice.

• Practical activities for students in some of the best centres in Spain.

• Follow-up tutorials at the work placement centre and at the University.

• Role play and case simulation.

• Work on self-knowledge and personal evaluation of student.

The Master's students will carry out their internships under the supervision of psychologists who will be their internship tutors.

Students acquire the ability to base and improve professional practice through research. The assessment of the Master's Thesis will be carried out by means of a public defence of the work developed before a panel of judges.
