Donations
and scholarships
The University of Navarra is a non-profit organization. Proceeds from student tuition fees go to the regular teaching . But student scholarships, new facilities and research are funded through donations from individuals and institutions. Your generosity allows us to carry out our mission statement: to serve the truth and society.
"Donations allow us to respond with our own voice to the great challenges of our time. Helping the University of Navarra has an enormous impact. Thank you all for making this dream continue."

How funds are raised
The funds from donations that the University of Navarra applies to its activities are obtained in two ways:
1) Donations received for expense current
2) Income from donations that have gone to endowments
Endowment, a guarantee for the future.
The endowment is a portfolio of financial assets, financed mainly by donations, which is used to sustain part of the university's activity on a stable basis. The returns are used for two purposes: to provide an annual amount to the university's regular budget and to recapitalize the endowment to maintain its purchasing power. The endowment includes various funds that can be general funds or have a pre-assigned activity to finance (scholarships, research, museum, Chairs, etc.) according to the donor's wishes (modalized).

One of the strategic objectives of the University is to obtain 75 funds from Alumni Scholarships Perpetuas for the 75 years of the University in order to provide scholarships to more young people and talent to our classrooms, following the aspiration of St. Josemaría Escrivá: "That no person with aptitudes should fail to study at the University of Navarra for lack of economic means".
To this end, a fundraising campaign has been launched, with the partnership of some Schools and schools. The goal is to reach the 75 funds of Alumni Scholarships Perpetuas.
A Alumni Scholarships Perpetual fund is established by a gift to the endowment. endowmentThe endowment reinvests a portion of the interest on the initial sum in the fund itself to ensure sustainability while applying another percentage to endow student scholarships.
