The report presented here takes stock of the past year and shows the magnitude of our activity professor, research and assistance. These are significant data that indicate that the University of Navarra is alive and giving rise to initiatives that respond to new challenges in our society and to new opportunities for partnership with many entities. It is always important to remember that at the origin of the figures and indicators lies something difficult to quantify: the commitment and professionalism of the people who have made the great project of the University of Navarra their professional project and staff. Each one of them is a reference of that sense of work that our society needs so much.
Along with the activity carried out, this document also includes the aid received. Thousands of entities and individuals accompany and support us in the adventure of building the University of Navarra every day, in its many facets. CORE CURRICULUM
Strategy 2025
The Institute Core Curriculum (ICC), which has the mission statement to promote the humanistic training offered to students and teachers, celebrated its 25th anniversary. In the framework of the celebration, took place the X workshop on the identity of the academic center under the degree scroll 'The humanistic challenge of the University'.
AMONG THE 250 IN THE WORLD
The University was ranked 249th university in the world according to the QS World University Rankings 2025, which evaluates more than 5,660 universities in 106 countries. The academic center stands out, according to the ranking, for its strength in employability and in international outreach.
GRANTS TO 46 PROJECTS
The Ministry of Science and Innovation granted more than 6 million euros to 46 projects led by University researchers. More than half of the funding was obtained through the call Generation of knowledge 2022, which aims to goal promote research in different fields.
IBERIFIER BOOST
Strategy 2025
The Iberifier observatory, coordinated by the School de Comunicación, received 1.27 million euros from the European Commission to continue with its research for three years. Formed by more than 70 researchers and journalists from around twenty organizations, the observatory has verified thousands of hoaxes, has promoted dozens of training activities and has investigated the phenomenon and trends of disinformation.
CLIMATE GOVERNANCE
Strategy 2025
The University became the host institution for Chapter Zero Spain, an initiative to implement the principles of climate governance in companies. It is a non-profit organization developed at partnership with the World Economic Forum and based at the Hughes Hall Center for Climate Engagement at the University of Cambridge.
FIRST scholarship PERPETUAL
Strategy 2025
Bruno Bernal, former student of Tecnun-Escuela de Ingeniería, donated the first perpetual scholarship from an alumni for the Campaign "75 scholarships for the 75th anniversary of the University". The goal of this campaign is to raise an additional 15 million euros for the Alumni Scholarships fund over the next five years, coinciding with the center's anniversary.
Chair IN ONCOLOGICAL INNOVATION
Strategy 2025
The University and Gilead Sciences launched the new Chair Gilead Innovation in Oncology at the Cancer Center Clínica Universidad de Navarra (CCUN). This initiative develops activities on four main pillars: training, innovation, research and scientificknowledge dissemination .
