The Biomedical Devices area collaborates with industry, universities, technology and medical centers on research projects that advance the state of the art in various fields: 

• design for Additive Manufacturing with functional materials including topological optimization of the eometry, printing process parameters to optimize the final functionality of the material itself, etc.

• development of new intelligent methodologies focused on the resolution of problems related to the industrial design focused on the Username

• design and development of Biomedical Devices

• design and Validation of Medical Simulators

• design and development of implanted biometric devices

It should be noted that the School of Medicine at the University of Navarra has a pioneering laboratory Medical Engineering in Pamplona. Its goal is to provide engineering solutions to the health care environment through the close partnership that exists between the different Departments of the School, services of the Clínica Universidad de Navarrathe laboratories of the research center Applied Medicine (Cima) and the School of Engineering (Tecnun).
