It is a degree scroll of the University of Navarra whose purpose resides in providing nursing students with the basic psychological tools for self-care and care in the framework of the therapeutic relationship. The creation of this Diploma will help promote a higher quality care by enhancing the knowledge related to the field of Psychology, at a more specialized level.

Through this Diploma, it is intended that the student:
Deepen your intra and interpersonal skills to improve your development staff and professional skills from a self-care perspective.
Develop the emotional and social competencies necessary to provide quality care at framework in the therapeutic relationship with the person being cared for and his/her family.
Acquire communication and problem-solving skills that will enhance your future professional performance in the interdisciplinary and cross-cultural work .
Learn the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to understand and address the processes related to mental illness and addictions.
Incorporate the most relevant psycho-educational tools for the management of behavioral change strategies and promotion of healthy habits.
Methodology
approach Theoretical. The Diploma will integrate a theoretical approach that facilitates the acquisition of scientific-theoretical knowledge through the curricular subjects of Psychology, Mental Health, Emotional Intelligence and Health, and Nursing Care to the person with addictions.
Practicum. It incorporates the application of such knowledge in the framework of the internship assistance (Practicum) and in the development of the work End of Degree.
Psychology tools. Seminars and theoretical-practical workshops with guest professors who are experts in the area, where students will be introduced to the use of specific tools in the field of Psychology, for its application in the clinical context of Nursing.
