mobility
To facilitate mobility, the following resources are available:
The School of doctorate Studies informs on a timely basis about the public calls for mobility for both professors and students and also has a mobility scholarship fund financed by the association of Friends of the University of Navarra. For further information, please contact
Both the University and the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura seek contact with other centers to facilitate the mobility of our doctoral students. The following partnership agreements are currently in force.
For more information on the research stays, enquiry the detailed description of the Training Activities on this website.
As stated in the Spanish Strategy for Science, Technology and Innovation 2013-2020, mobility is a critical factor in favoring knowledge transfer, improving knowledge and technology absorption capabilities, and fostering dialogue and partnership.
In particular, mobility associated with the doctoral program is a core topic for improving the skills of the research team and the PhD student, and constitutes a fundamental vehicle for: establishing partnership links, facilitating learning processes, increasing the use of scientific and technological knowledge and the generation of new knowledge, new applications and developing service products.
In this context, in the doctoral program the PhD student is oriented from the beginning to carry out the following activities:
-
attendance and presentation of his research at international congresses and other forums.
-
Visits to archives and libraries in search of information related to doctoral research projects.
-
Relevant professional collaborations for applied research.
These activities will be designed together with the thesis director and must have the approval of the Academic Committee.
Stays of research
On the other hand, it is possible to carry out stays in other prestigious international centers to broaden knowledge and open up possibilities for new projects and research collaborations. In this framework, specific doctorate programs are also promoted that incorporate mobility and the connection with the professional and international environment in a structural way:
