The University of Navarra is a research university that carries out an interdisciplinary, international and socially involved research . During the last academic year, 181 thesis were defended, 33 of them with international doctorate .

Graduate Scholarship Program

One of the main missions of the association de Amigos since its creation in 1960 is to support the research of the University of Navarra through Graduate Fellowships. A total of 19% of the thesis defended at the University have been supported by the financial aid of the association de Amigos.
The Program of financial aid to staff researcher at training (PIF) is aimed at students who start an interdisciplinary, international research and with high Degree of social involvement. Its mission statement is to promote and facilitate the orientation of all young graduates who meet the necessary conditions of merit and ability towards university tasks of Education and research developed in the field of activities promoted by the University.
