The department collaborated with the School of Law, theSchool of Humanities and Social Sciences and the high school de Ciencias para la Familia in holding an International Bioethics conference entitled Bioethics and dignity in a plural society, which took place in Pamplona from 21st to 23rd October 1999 with this programme. The conference proceedings of these conference have been published by publishing house Eunsa, with the title degree scroll "Living and dying with dignity. Temas fundamentales de Bioética en una sociedad plural" (Pamplona, 2002).
