This Master's Degree is focused on a project of research, so it is recommended to the future student to have identified the area of research and subject of project that he/she would like to do so that in the interview with the professors they can help him/her to define and advise the area of work. Zero Course
If you do not have this basic knowledge, you will have to take training complements in these areas before the beginning of Master's Degree. For this purpose, the zero course "Introduction to R and review of statistics" (1 ECTS credit) will be offered with the following contents:
Descriptive statistics
R/RStudio programming environment
Basic procedures: graphs, tests and adjustments
The students will take this complementary training before the beginning of Master's Degree. The Academic Committee of Master's Degree will carry out a personalized study of the transcript of each applicant to assess the need to take these complements.
A MASTER'S DEGREE ADDRESSED TO...
University degree
The Master's Degree is aimed at students, Spanish or foreign, who accredit the legal requirements of access foreseen for access to the official teachings of Master's Degree. It will be necessary to be in possession of an official Spanish university degree scroll or another issued by an institution of Education of the European Higher Education Area Education that entitles in the country issuing the degree scroll for access to Master's Degree teachings.
training equivalent
Graduates from educational systems outside the European Higher Education Area may also be admitted without the need to have their degrees recognised. The University will verify that they accredit a level of training equivalent to the corresponding official Spanish university degrees, which entitle them to access postgraduate program. Access by this route will not imply, under any circumstances, the homologation of the previous degree held by the interested party, nor its recognition for purposes other than that of studying for the Master's degree.
Admission process
You must register at Portal MiUnav and fill in the form with your personal details.
You must attach the required documentation:
- National Identity Document (National Identity Card) or Passport
- degree scroll university. If candidate has not yet completed programs of study admission to the program will be conditional on obtaining degree scroll before the start of Master's Degree.

- Curriculum vitae.
- Motivation letter explaining the reasons for Apply for admission in the program.
- accreditation of knowledge level of Spanish B2 of the framework Common European Framework of reference letter for Languages (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) or equivalent. Those candidates who do not have certification may take the level certification exam at institute of modern languages of the University of Navarra.
Shortlisted candidates will have a personal interview (may be online) with a member of the Master's Academic Committee.

Candidates who do not have certification may take the level certification exam at institute of modern languages of the University of Navarra.
Candidates who do not have Spanish as their mother tongue language must accredit their level of Spanish, which can be certificate through the following exams:
- DELE B2 (Instituto Cervantes)
- Subject Test in Spanish with Listening of the SAT (score 540-670)
- Tests of the Instituto de language and Spanish Culture (ILCE) level B2
Students who do not have the minimum level of Spanish may enrol in the summer courses of the ILCE or equivalent institution in order to achieve the required language skills before the start of the course.
All students with university studies carried out abroad, must apply for the equivalence of average grades of their university studies. This document is essential for the assessment of their admission to the programme.
Scholarships and grants for Master's Degree
Specific aid programmes for students who wish to study any of the master's degrees offered by the University of Navarra's School of Sciences. This programme has the condition that once they have finished the Master's Degree, students must start, develop and defend the doctorate at the University of Navarra.

ADMISSION CRITERIA
Steps for admission
The admissions process to Master's Degree is open from October 1 to September 1 of each year. The admissions process to Master's Degree is always open until fill in the issue maximum of places.
Once the application for admission has been received, the secretary of the Postgraduate Studies Committee evaluates the legal requirements for access to the degree program. Subsequently, the Academic Committee of the Master's Degree proceeds to the evaluation and admission of the application based on the following criteria:
→ transcript academic (70%)
→ Curriculum vitae (15%)
→ Motivation letter and interview staff (15%, score minimum 7 out of 10) .
The board Directive of the School of Sciences issues the finalreport on admission and, finally, the Admissions Office of the University of Navarra communicates to candidate the resolution of the application of admission. In the case of a favorable resolution, you will receive all the necessary information to formalize the enrollment.
The resolution of the application admission will be available at Portal at candidate.
Admitted students must pay the pre-enrollment as an advance payment of the costs of enrollment in the Master's Degree they are going to take. The amount is 3.000 € (this amount paid as pre-enrollment will only be refundable in the case of not having passed the Degree/licentiate degree being taken).
