Pope Francis has exhorted priests to be grateful for the divine gift of vocation so that this gratitude "may awaken praise and encourage us once again in the mission statementof anointing our brothers in hope". Our society is in great need of Jesus Christ and that is why today the existence and mission statementof priests is more necessary than ever.
These conferenceare intended as an occasion for reflection and meetingto share ideas and experiences on current challenges in priestly life and ministry.
They seek to offer suggestions for reflection on the current status, and spaces in which to share diverse pastoral experiences around the life and ministry of the priest. The approachof the sessions is fundamentally practical, and seeks at all times to encourage dialogue among the participants.
