01 / WHAT IS DISC GOLF?
The University of Navarra’s “ Sports Service ” has reached a agreement with the Baxi Basajauna Disc Golf association to create a 9-hole course on the university’s sports grounds. Disc golf is a sport played like golf, but instead of using a ball and clubs, players throw a flying disc or Frisbee, and instead of aiming for holes, they must land the disc in baskets with chains.
This sport is usually played on a 9- or 18-hole course (baskets). Players complete a hole by throwing a disc from a tee area toward a basket, throwing again from where the previous throw landed, until they reach the basket. The baskets consist of chains hanging above the basket, designed to catch incoming discs, which then fall into the basket.

Registration
The University of Navarra course will be registered with thePDGA andwill appear inall disc golf appsworldwide.
Reservations
The facility shares space with the outdoor archery range.Reservations are for one hour, and the Sports Service will provide the necessary equipmentfor internship to practice this sport.
Sports Programs
The " internship " at discipline is part of astrategy to expand the range of sports options availableto the university's students.
