The fauna of the Roncal, topic of a workshop of the Chair of language and Basque Culture of the University of Navarra.

The Chair of language and Basque Culture of the School of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Navarra, in partnership with Etniker Navarraorganized the culturalworkshop "Bringing the intangible heritage closer. Fauna of the Roncal". It took place on Saturday, October 19, at the Casa de la board General del Valle de Roncal.

The meeting, sponsored by the Government of Navarra, brought together experts who gave an overview of the latest research in this field. It began with the presentation of the book "Fauna del Roncal", at position by Pablo Orduna, from Etniker (BCC and UNIR). Next, Enrique Baquero, from the Bioma of the University of Navarra, spoke about "The importance of science for the knowledge of the environment". Gotzon Pérez Artutx, from Bidankozarte Ekimena, focused on "The fauna in the oral culture of the Roncalese".

The workshop ended with a session at position by Lorea Larraya, from ArtCinco, on the images of the fauna of the Roncal. Attendees were also able to enjoy a exhibition of drawings made by different illustrators from Navarre.
