Ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the essential facts, concepts, principles and theories related to the areas of Chemistry. The graduate will have a thorough knowledge knowledge of both Chemistry in general (Inorganic, Organic, Analytical and Physical Chemistry), and its different applications, such as Chemical Quality Control, Health Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Industry, Industrial Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, Food Chemistry, Toxicology.

Solid human and cultural training, which will help them in the development of their personality and in the achievement of attitudes and capacities to carry out an effective service to society with honesty, responsibility, capacity for teamwork, spirit of solidarity and service'.

Industry. design and production control in industrial processes. design and development of new products, oenology. Agrochemical industry, agricultural therapy (pesticides, herbicides). Production, processing and preservation of beverages and foodstuffs. Chemistry sanitary, pharmacological testing and pharmaceutical industry. Waste recycling and management , paper industry, water treatment, renewable energies, pollutant detection, the rubber industry and environmental protection. Chemical applications for the identification and restoration of artistic, archaeological and ethnological heritage.

Research and new technologies. Research, development and control of chemical and biological industrial processes. in Universities, Research Centres and laboratories of research and development+i of chemical and pharmaceutical industries, biotechnology, food, (dairy, meat and canning companies, oenology) and recycling plants. Synthesis of new Materials, medicines, alternative energy sources (solar generators, non-fossilised energy sources),... 

Services. Chemical analysis in public or private health (Resident Internal Chemist). Customs, drug analysis, doping control, inspection and industrial control on behalf of the Administration. Teaching. In secondary education or vocational training, as a chemistry, science or technology teacher. At university, as a university lecturer at different levels, Degree, postgraduate program and continuing education.
