In recent years, the progress of historical research on ancient times has shown how dependent it is on archaeological sources. Archaeological sources have proved to be the most dynamic in generating historical information. knowledgeand knowledge . From this point of view, the profile of the 21st century archaeologist is that of a professional with a broad historical, humanistic and not exclusively technical knowledge. For this reason, it is from the summer of the second year when the student is able to make the most of the practical work in archaeological excavations.
Students should apply for through written request the enrollment in the following subjects: Archaeological Excavation I - 3º, Archaeological Excavation II - 4º, Archaeological Workshop - 4º.
