Complementos de formación

Training complements

  • Students with profile ACCESS 1 and 2 (recommended profiles) will not be assigned Complementary Training.

  • Students with profile ACCESS 3 will be required to take 12 ECTS credit Complementary training, of which 4 ECTS credit must be from area Bioethics.

  • Students with ACCESS PROFILES 4, 5 and 6 will be asked to complete a maximum of 20 ECTS credit of Complementary Training.

The training complements will be assigned from the following studies:

o Ethics of biomedical research (4 ECTS credit)

o Basic Applied Statistics (4 ECTS credit)

o Course of update of stata (4 ECTS credit)

o Diagnostic tests, systematic reviews and meta-analysis (4 ECTS credit)

o Epidemiology (4 ECTS credit)

o Introduction to multivariate statistics (4 ECTS credit)

o Ethics in biomedical research

o Methods and safety in biomedical research

o Animal experimentation

o Training for animal experimentation

o Writing Science and Communication

o Biostatistics

o In situ molecular techniques

o Biochemical and microbiological diagnostic techniques

o Image analysis and quantification in biomedicine

o Applications of molecular biology to medicine

o Omics technologies

o Animal models for biomedical research

o Ethics of scientific praxis

o Advanced statistical methods

o Image analysis

In exceptional cases, complementary training may be configured with other subjects included in both Masters (Biomedical Research and Computational Methods in Science).

These assigned training complements must be completed during the 1st and 2nd year of enrollment.
