teaching FOR students' COMPREHENSIVE DEVELOPMENT
The new spaces will facilitate innovation in teaching methods and also favor contact between professors and students in different knowledge areas.
"Our mission is to help solve the challenges that threaten us. Professors and researchers therefore develop projects aimed at promoting human and environmental health in line with the One Health approach, which states that human, animal and environmental health are very closely linked."
ALBERTO PÉREZ MEDIAVILLA
Dean of School of Science
Our greatest impact is on the education of students, future professionals whose work will transform the world
The BIOMA Center aims to provide students with a comprehensive education. We believe that the teaching method itself can have a sustainable approach. We therefore support the service-learning method, which involves applying the concept of curriculum sustainability based on caring for the environment. This consists of offering content that enables students to be active agents and generate changes during their time at the university.
