Climate change communication
The group of research on science communication included in BIOMA brings together researchers from the University of Navarra and associates from other centers.
His goal is the study of science in social media. The group is characterized by a approach multidisciplinary and international environmental issues of relevance. One of its main lines of research is the communication of climate change, within which it has developed the following projects:

Information on climate change in the Spanish media: this project has studied the communication on climate change in the Spanish mass media. Specifically, it has focused on the analysis, both quantitative and qualitative, of the informative content on this issue offered through television and daily press. The results indicate that climate change is a marginal issue in the Spanish press and television news despite the fact that it is one of the most serious problems facing our planet(https://youtu.be/CYpm5La9Q1U).

Communication of climate change through social networks: in this case, some trends of growing importance in this field have been analyzed, with special emphasis on the strategies used to communicate climate change, the configuration of Public discourse on this issue, the role of images and the connection with emotions.
