Sustainability and Economics circular
We conduct advanced research in the development of new materials sustainable and biodegradable
This area focuses on integrating sustainability and circular Economics principles into all levels of society and Economics. Activities include advanced research on the development of new sustainable and biodegradable materials, innovative techniques for recycling and reusing waste, and strategies to minimize the carbon footprint of industry. In addition, sustainable urban planning and Building issues are addressed, seeking to create urban spaces that are efficient, resilient and adaptive in the face of climate change. This comprehensive approach aims to be a model for a Economics that is not only resource efficient, but also equitable and regenerative.
Economics CIRCULAR, SUSTAINABLE MATERIALS AND WASTE VALORIZATION
This line of research focuses on the life cycle of renewable materials and the development of innovative processes to convert waste into valuable resources and energy. It includes the study of biodegradable and recyclable materials, recovery and recycling techniques, and the design of products and systems that facilitate circularity.
WATER TREATMENT
In this line, advanced technologies are developed and applied to purify and reuse wastewater. We also carry out programs of study to determine how different technologies and processes can affect aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems, with a approach in sustainability and environmental protection.
URBANISM, Building SUSTAINABLE AND RESILIENCE TO CLIMATE CHANGE
This line of research focuses on innovative design of cities and buildings that integrate green technologies, energy efficiency and adaptability to climate change. Topics such as sustainable urban planning, zero-energy buildings and nature-based solutions to increase urban resilience are explored.
