Exploit4InnoMat, An Open Innovation Ecosystem for exploitation of materials for building envelopes towards zero energy buildings

Exploit4InnoMat aims to provide a sustainable solution across Europe for the design validation of new materials for building envelopes that will facilitate the achievement of goal European goal for nZEB.
Exploit4InnoMat will provide services across the entire materials supply chain, starting from the design and scaling of materials, through to installation, validation, and assessment end-of-life scenarios .
main goal
PRODUCTION OPTIMIZATION
Develop sustainable materials and products that not only reduce operational energy demand (e.g., by providing better insulation properties, reducing thermal bridges, and leveraging energy storage), but also have lower embodied energy by optimizing their production process.
To achieve this goal , a wide range of expertise goal contributed to the OITB, covering fields such as material characterization and modeling, process monitoring and control, environment and assessment, regulation and standardization, social acceptance, and management .
