Infrastructure
The Biodiversity and Environment Institute has modern facilities where to develop the experimental work . It has specific laboratories for the different areas of research, a wide range of analytical equipment and experimental stations and sampling networks in different areas of ecological interest.
All this infrastructure is vital to advance in the knowledge of natural processes and to study the effects of anthropogenic activities on ecosystems and biodiversity at different spatial and temporal scales.
Laboratories
Thanks to the heterogeneity of the groups included in BIOMA, the Institute has a wide variety of laboratories where samples from different environmental spheres are processed, studied and analyzed, as well as facilities dedicated to different activities of research and support to the Institute.
