Admission

1. requirements
 

  • Admissions Office to high school program in Theology

    In order to start the programs of study corresponding to high school program it is necessary to have C 2º de high school diploma Logse and accredit having passed the University Entrance Exams "EvAU" or other equivalent programs of study that allow access to the Spanish University, or having passed the exams that are established in the case of those over 25, 40 or 45 years of age without sufficient degree program . Non-Spaniards must accredit that they have the programs of study required for admission to the civil university of their own country.

  • Admissions Office to the Bachelor's Degrees and to the doctorate

    In order to begin any of the Theology Degrees (postgraduate) it is necessary to accredit that you have the degree scroll of high school program in Theology or that you have completed the institutional ecclesiastical programs of study completed in a duly recognised centre of the Catholic Church. To access the programs of study of doctorate it is necessary to accredit that you hold the degree scroll of graduate in Theology.
     

2. application of Admissions Office

The Admissions Office in any of the three Schools of programs of study ecclesiastical must be requested through the portal Miunav.
In addition, the following documents must be submitted to upload :

  • Candidates to study the high school program in Theology / Degree (5 courses, 300 ECTS credit credit)
    Copy of the card that accredits having passed the University entrance exams ("EvAU", "university entrance exam") or another degree scroll that allows access to the University, or having C the test for over 25, 40 or 45 year olds without degree program sufficient. In the case of foreigners, certificate of the programs of study studied in which, in addition, it is accredited that these programs of study enable access to the University of their own country.

  • Candidates to study a specialisedlicentiate degree / Postgraduate course (2 courses, 120 ECTS credit credit):
    The certificates required for students of the high school program in Theology and certificate from programs of study which expressly state the grade obtained in each of the subjects that make up the first cycle.

  • Candidates for doctorate:
    The certificate of programs of study of second cycle -extended by subjects- and the degree scroll of graduate in Theology. To access the programs of study of doctorate it is necessary to apply for the Admissions Office in the administrative office Technical of research. Normally, the third cycle will last at least two to five years.

  • Seminarians, clerics, members of Institutes of Consecrated Life and members of Societies of Apostolic Life must also present written permission to attend the corresponding programs of study , granted by the Ordinary or Superior to whom they depend.

  • Priests must present a written document certifying that they are in a position to carry out the pastoral work proper to their priestly status during the period of schooling.

  • For candidates residing in Spain, the deadline for apply for the Admissions Office ends on 15 May. It is recommended that candidates resid ing abroad apply for Admissions Office before 15 February. From the administrative office of the School, or through the advisor or representative that the School has in the different countries, you will be informed of the procedure to follow in each case.

  • If not all of the above documentation can be provided at apply for Admissions Office , the reasons will be stated, but it will not be possible to register at School without presenting the complete documentation.
     

3. Tests of Admissions Office

The Admissions Office is awarded on the basis of academic record, the results of possible entrance examinations and additional data (aptitudes, geographical origin, age, knowledge of language Spanish , etc.), which allow a fair order of priority to be established among applicants. Details of the date, place and time when the tests are to be held will be set out in the receipt acknowledgement of the application of Admissions Office . No other preparation is required for these tests other than that corresponding to the previous programs of study required in each case. Every year, in January or February, the University of Navarra organises a test for access to the University for people over 25 years of age without sufficient degree program ; this test can be attended by prospective students of the School of Theology and of the Higher Institutes of Religious Sciences.

 

4. Acknowledgement of the preceding programs of study

Students admitted to the School of Theology coming from other Centres, who have studied programs of study that correspond, in whole or in part, to the curriculum of programs of study of the School, will be able to validate the programs of study made of agreement with the general canonical norms and the Statutes of the School. They must apply for validation by uploading the certificate of programs of study with their grade and the programme of the subjects taken that they wish to validate qualification.
