Sports Supplementation and Doping (3 ECTS credit, 1st semester). Professional and amateur internship have been accompanied by a growing interest in improving physical performance through the use of nutritional supplements and pharmacological agents. This subject a rigorous and up-to-date analysis of the main strategies of nutritional ergogenesis, the use of ergogenic drugs, and the risks of doping in sports. In addition to addressing the efficacy, safety, and regulation of these interventions, the course will foster critical thinking regarding the ethical and health impacts of substance misuse in sports. Phytotherapy (3 ECTS credit, 2nd semester). It goes deeper into the knowledge of medicinal plants with scientific criteria.
iDat4Life: data Intelligence in the Service of Health (3 ECTS credit, 2nd semester). This subject has as a goal totrain for a correct and efficient interpretation and communication of scientific data , addressing also relevant aspects such as the translation of results to different scenarios, and the impact of the study design .
