The Master's Degree programs of study Curatorial Studies/ Curatorial Studies takes place at the Museo Universidad de Navarra, the first museum in Spain to offer an official Master's Degree for curators training . An innovative program, with a high dimension internship (learning-by-doing) and a real link to the professional world.
Theoretical-practical teaching in a unique museum-university context
The curatorial internship learning by doing... Throughout the Master's Degree, MCS students act as "residents" of the Museum through a rotation program in the different areas. They learn the fundamental contents of each of the areas under the supervision of their supervisors.
Internationally renowned professional staff
You will experience first-hand the collection of the University of Navarra Museum, the exhibition and programming processes; you will learn how to carry out the project, from the idea to the opening, from the proposal to the premiere; you will also participate in the intense intellectual environment of the University of Navarra and an international academic staff formed by experts and curators of the highest level.
Meetings with professionals and visits to cultural centres
During the academic year, students visit several art centers and emblematic museums. These professional meetings allow them to discover and meet curators, artists and other professionals in the sector.

Its exhibition program is based on two legacies: the photography collection (comprising 22,000 photographs and more than 200,000 negatives) with pieces by renowned photographers such as Laurent, Cliff Ord, Ortiz Echagüe, and contemporary artists such as Lynne Cohen, Roland Fischer and Joan Fontcuberta. The painting and sculpture collection includes modern and contemporary works by national and international artists such as Rothko, Picasso, Kandisnky, Tàpies and Oteiza.
LAB MUSEUM
Upon arrival at the Museum, students are introduced to a hands-on learning program that allows them to rotate through the different Departments of the University of Navarra Museum.
SUPPORT AND GUIDANCE
The student has at its disposal the board Directive of Master's Degree to solve any academic difficulty or management assistant that may arise throughout the course.
INTERNATIONAL PROJECTION
The curator or curator of the program is critically and reflectively confronted with the contemporary development of culture.
