International career development
The Master's Degree in Curatorial Studies programs of study is developed at the Museo Universidad de Navarra, the only one in Spain to offer an official Master's Degree for the training of curators. An innovative program, with a practical approach (based on learning by doing) and a real link to the professional world from the beginning.
Learning by doing
This Master's Degree allows you to learn and experience the curatorial internship by doing it in an ideal environment, a museum: the Museo Universidad de Navarra. Thus, our students are immersed in the internship and the daily activity of a creative center, getting to know its day-to-day life, its daily dynamics and its great moments firsthand.
Exhibiting at MUN
Each year, one of the curatorial projects presented by the Master's Degree students in their Final Master' Degree Degree (TFM) work is chosen to be brought to reality, on the walls of the Museo Universidad de Navarra. These proposals are based on the study of important collections, such as the ARCO Collection, the Generations Collection (Casa Encendida) or Patricia Phelps de Cisneros.
Learning from the best
The future curators are trained in subjects taught by professors of proven professor and professional capacity. Among them are museum directors like Tania Pardo (CA2M), Pablo Berástegui (Casa Encendida), Carlos Urroz (Museo Reina Sofía, Gabinete Institucional), Sergio Rubira (TEA. Tenerife) or Gabriel Pérez Barreriro (MUN); artists like Daniel Canogar and independent curators like Gerardo Mosquera, Gloria Mouré or Eneas Bernal.
Do you want more reasons?

Its exhibition program is based on two legacies: the photography collection (comprising 22,000 photographs and more than 200,000 negatives) with pieces by renowned photographers such as Laurent, Cliff Ord, Ortiz Echagüe, and contemporary artists such as Lynne Cohen, Roland Fischer and Joan Fontcuberta. The painting and sculpture collection includes modern and contemporary works by national and international artists such as Rothko, Picasso, Kandisnky, Tàpies and Oteiza.

Study program
The Study program of the Master's Degree in Curatorial programs of study at MUN is an integrated curriculum that addresses the intellectual, creative and managerial levels, to train you with the complete profile that the curatorial professional needs on a daily basis: with a deep knowledge of culture, a command of writing in its different registers, with a social sense and institutional responsibility, capable of understanding and attending to audiences, of relating to artists, and with a command of the technical aspects related to conservation, communication, budgetary issues, etc.

Meetings with professionals
