The University, second best university in Spain according to the CYD ranking

The University of Navarra is the second best university in Spain according to the CYD ranking, after obtaining 30 high performing indicators out of the 38 possible in this classification. This is the most complete and exhaustive ranking of the Spanish university system, which evaluates 93% of the active universities (82 of the 88 Spanish universities), in 30 areas of knowledge and through more than 3,454 degrees.
For the fourth consecutive year, the University of Navarra is second in Spain behind the Autonomous University of Barcelona. The Navarre center is the first of all private universities and the only one in the top 7 positions.
The University of Navarra is strong in teaching, research, transfer, and international outreach. The CYD ranking analyzes Spanish universities with 38 indicators, divided into five areas: teaching and learning, research knowledge transfer, international outreach, international orientation and contribution to regional development . The University of Navarra is first in Spain in International Orientation, with all the high performing indicators. In addition, it is second in teaching and learning, with eight out of nine high performing indicators in that area; and third in researchtied with Pompeu Fabra, Autónoma de Barcelona and the University of Vigo, with seven high performing indicators out of a possible eight; and in knowledge Transfer, with seven high performing indicators out of a possible ten.
In addition to the general classification, the ranking publishes each year a detailed study of some academic area , this year the chosen subjects have been engineering (STEM). In this area, the University of Navarra is second in Spain in three sub-areas: Architecture, out of 36 universities with these programs of study; Industrial Engineering / Production, out of 35 ranked universities; and Electrical Engineering / Energy, an area in which 31 universities offer programs of study in Spain.
Navarra, the university system with the highest performance
The CYD Foundation also ranks the regions according to their performance indicators. The best regional university system in Spain is Navarre, followed by Catalonia and the Basque Country. By areas, Navarra is first in teaching and learning, research and International Orientation. It also stands out in knowledge Transfer, with Navarra being the second best region in the whole country in this area.
The Vice President of the Office of Academic Affairs of the University, Secundino Fernández, expressed his satisfaction with the results of the ranking. "The University of Navarra aims to provide its students with a unique and unrepeatable experience, based on a comprehensive and transformative Education , the rigorous research of each of the subjects and the enrichment that comes from the interdisciplinary design that permeates all curricular and extracurricular activities on campus, with a clear goal of service to society today".
