The work researchers, academics, and doctoral students helps to expand the frontiers of knowledge respond to the challenges presented by society with scientific rigor, an interdisciplinary perspective, and a deeply human vision open to transcendence.
In its Strategy 25/30, the University has defined nine priority lines of research grouped around three major interdisciplinary areas, in which it aspires to be a benchmark in research and to generate a positive impact, both nationally and internationally.

INNOVATIVE THERAPIES

Through the work research center Appliedresearch center (CIMA), the Clínica Universidad de Navarra and its Cancer Center and the Schools in area biomedical area of the University, the aim is to achieve excellence in the development innovative therapeutic strategies.

This line promotes research food and lifestyles that impact health and sustainability, as well as the study of the biological and metabolic mechanisms involved in obesity, its comorbidities, and new therapeutic strategies. The research activity in this line connects different disciplines to provide real answers to current health challenges.

It addresses the analysis of care and family throughout the life cycle from a approach and multidisciplinary approach , integrating disciplines such as Nursing, Sociology, Epidemiology, and Demography. Its study includes: person-centered care; health promotion and family care; the study of childhood, adolescence, and emerging youth as stages for the acquisition of habits and lifestyles; the impact of technology onrelationships; and family dynamics of mutual support . From a positive health perspective, this line of research encourages active participation and shared decision-making, contributing to development humanized and sustainable practices.

It proposes advancing the study of development models development policies that place people at the center and contribute to caring for the natural and social environment, recognizing that achieving development requires articulating its economic dimension with others such as environmental, social, demographic, geopolitical, and institutional. Economic and business policies have been incorporating these variables in an uncertain geopolitical context that demands an integrated approach to global challenges.

This line of research, which began in recent years, is considered particularly relevant because of its connection to the University ofstatement of core values . goal is to focus on deepening a theology of work on secularity, the lay vocation, and the teachings of St. Josemaría. All of this research will be carried out in dialogue with contemporary challenges.

The meaning of work will be studied work an interdisciplinary, philosophical, sociological, and business perspective, analyzing its ethical and anthropological foundations, as well as the difference between work and work . Complementarily, it will focus on identifying and analyzing the organizational, cultural, and governance elements that enable the construction of purpose work cultures, oriented toward the integral flourishing of people, the development more humane organizations, and a positive and sustainable impact on society. In relation to this framework , research professional ethics in various areas of knowledge will be encouraged.

AGING, PRODUCTIVITY, AND INTERGENERATIONAL SOLIDARITY
It seeks to understand the major social challenges posed by the process of demographic aging, both in personal and family biographies and in the areas of work governance. In a globalized, interconnected, and individualistic society, the generalization of longevity has led to a profound transformation of solidarity networks and intergenerational flows, both in the staff family spheres and in the professional sphere. Spanning both spaces is the great challenge management increasingly limited time. It is a world of paradoxes that must be understood in order to formulate proposals aimed at the common good and improving quality of life.
