Alfonso Sánchez-Tabernero took office as Presidentof the University of Navarra in 2012. He is the 8th Presidentof the University since its foundation.

Ismael Sánchez Bella, PhD in Law and diploma holderat programs of studyHispanoamericanos, arrived at the University of Navarra in 1952, becoming one of the first professors at the academic centre. For two years he was the first director of the Schoolof Law, until he was appointed Presidentof the University. In 1959 he became Vice-Rector, position, which he held until 1986. Author of numerous publications in scientific journals and award-winning research, he is also a founding member and honorary president of the high schoolInternacional de History of LawIndiano, and an academic of various institutions in Spain and Latin America.

José María Albareda, PhD in Pharmacy and Chemistry. He trained in several European countries and promoted the committee Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC). He specialized, in Bonn, Zurich and Königsberg, in Edaphology, the science of soil, to which he was attracted by its naturalistic aspects. With a great vocation for research, he left a rich scientific work that amounts to 203 cataloged titles. Full Professor of Agriculture in the high school of teaching average of Huesca, he later went to the same Chair of high school Velázquez of Madrid. In 1959 he was ordained a priest, although he continued with his intense professional work and in 1960 he was appointed President of the University of Navarra, position which he held until his death.

Francisco Ponz holds a Ph.D. in Natural Sciences from the University of Madrid. He furthered his programs of study Switzerland and was appointed Chair Physiology at the School of Science the University of Barcelona in 1944. In 1966, he joined the University of Navarra as a professor, serving as its President later Vice President 1979–1992). His extensive scientific work has resulted in the publication of more than 150 research papers research several books on physiology, as well as various articles and books on different academic topics.

Alfonso Nieto, a doctor of law and journalist. He completed his postgraduate program the Sorbonne, postgraduate program Barcelona, and in Heidelberg, earned a degree scroll journalism, and joined the faculty of the School of Science the University of Navarra. Alejandro Llano studied at the Universities of Madrid, Valencia and Bonn. thesis He received his doctorate from the University of Valencia with a doctoral thesis on Kant's Metaphysics, on which he worked under the direction of Professor Gottfried Martin. He was Associate Professorof the University of Valencia and obtained the Chairof Metaphysics from the Autonomous University of Madrid. From 1981 to 1989 he was Deanof the Schoolof Philosophyand letters of the University of Navarra and in 1991 he was appointed President. Since 2000 he has been President of the high schoolof Anthropology and Ethics of this University, as well as being one of the promoters of the high schoolbusiness and Humanism. In January 2000 he was appointed Academician of the Pontifical Academy of Saint Thomas Aquinas and in 2005 he received the degree scrollde honorary doctorfrom the Universidad Panamericana (Mexico).

José María Bastero, engineer and Full Professor. programs of study degree scroll He studied Naval Engineering at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, where he obtained his doctorate in the same university and obtained the degree of Industrial Engineer in 1980. He was Full Professor of the University of Bilbao and director of the E.T.S. of Engineers of the University of Navarra, position which he combined with director of the Center of programs of study and Technical Research of Guipuzcoa between 1982 and 1993. He arrived in Pamplona in 1992 to occupy the Office of the Vice President for Research of the University and in 1996 he was appointed President. He has written numerous articles in international journals on his specialization program, and has published the guide Curso de Mecánica.

Ángel José Gómez Montoro is Full Professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Navarra. graduate in Law from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and diploma holder in Constitutional Law and Political Science from the Centro de programs of study Political and Constitutional Center. He obtained the doctorate, with award extraordinary, at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. scholarship recipient of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, he has been Visiting Scholar at the Universities of Münster and Columbia. He has taught teaching at the Universidad Complutense and the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, as well as at various universities and institutions in Germany, Italy, Colombia and Mexico. He was a member of the Constitutional Court from 1994 to 1998. In 2003 he was awarded the award Francisco Tomás y Valiente. He is an honorary member of Jakiunde (Academy of Sciences, Arts and Letters). In 2001 he joined the University of Navarra, where he was appointed Vice President (2003) and President (2005).

Alfonso Sánchez-Tabernero is graduate and holds a PhD in Information Sciences from the University of Navarra. Professor of business Informative and has directed the Master in Media Management. He has been professor of Structure of Journalistic Information and Associate Dean of the School of Social and Communication Sciences at the University of the Basque Country. In 2007 he obtained the qualification of Full Professor. Between 1996 and 2005 he was Dean of the School of Communication at the University of Navarra.
He holds a PDG from IESE at the University of Navarra and is a Visiting Fellow at the European Institute for the average(Dusserldorf, Germany). He has also been Visiting Professorat the University of Manchester (1990-1992) and at Northwestern University in Chicago (1996). He was the driving force behind the launch in New York of the Institute for average& Entertainment, a centre promoted by IESE and Schoolat speech. He was President of the European averageManagement Education Association (1998-2004).
From 2005 to 2007 he was the first Vice Presidentof speechInstitutional of the University of Navarra. He was Vice Presidentof International Officefrom 2007 and from August 2012 to December 2021, Presidentof the University of Navarra.
He currently continues to teach at Schoolat speechand to advise students.
