With the mission statement and the environment

By its very identity, the University is called upon to respond to the needs and challenges of each historical moment. Aware of the value of its contribution, it intends to be present with its own voice and to be an external reference in the major issues that mark our world and can shape it in the future. Among them, there are some areas of particular relevance, in which we will seek not only to promote projects, but also to measure their scope, for which core topic impact indicators will be defined and will have assessment and monitoring mechanisms.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) in general and generative AI in particular have a transformative capacity that affects professions and all activities, and very significantly university tasks. The University aims to be a leader in the integration of AI in the professor and research activity, in order to enhance and expand the educational and researcher impact. We intend to be a living lab for the application of AI, in a dynamic and rigorous process, also from the methodological point of view, that can be shared with institutions all over the world.

Science is a reality that shapes our society. Contributing to train scientists with a broad vision of science, integrating the humanistic, environmental and ethical dimension, may be one of the most significant contributions of the University. The activity of the Science Museum of the BIOMA Center aims to improve and expand the quality of scientific and environmental Education at all educational levels and to generate STEM vocations.
