SOLIDARIUN: THE SOLIDARITY FAIR
Last Tuesday, September 24, the work that nearly 50 social entities from Navarra carry out to achieve social sustainability was highlighted. During the event, attendees had the opportunity to learn more about the needs of the environment and get information about the projects in which they can collaborate. The main approach was social sustainability, with a strong emphasis on the search for a fair and equitable development that promotes the welfare of all people in society.

Ikaskide: Is inequality sustainable?
Ikaskide is a socio-educational project that works with children and adolescents in status at risk of poverty. During the discussion paper, it was highlighted how inequality in childhood affects social sustainability. The importance of Education and the role of volunteer activities to reduce this gap was emphasized, stressing that inequality is not sustainable and that society must be actively involved.
Red Cross: Is loneliness sustainable?
The Red Cross addressed the growing problem of loneliness among the elderly. The discussion paper explained how loneliness negatively impacts the lives of older people, with a significant increase in the number of older people living alone in Spain. The institution highlighted the projects they are developing to combat this problem and called on society to act, stating that loneliness is not sustainable.
ANFAS: Is exclusion sustainable?
ANFAS spoke about the inclusion of people with disabilities and how the lack of accessibility and job opportunities contributes to their social exclusion. The discussion paper stressed that a society cannot be sustainable without inclusion, highlighting initiatives to improve accessibility and promote the labor integration of people with disabilities.
Migration Secretariat of the Church of Navarra: Is indifference sustainable?
The Secretariat for Migration presented the status of immigrants in Navarra and its work to welcome, protect, promote and integrate these people. They emphasized that indifference towards migrants is unsustainable and called on society to get involved in their integration, responding to their material and spiritual needs.
