Training
Service-learning combines students' theoretical training with community service. It seeks promote personal reflection and an increased sense of community, civic engagement and personal responsibility.
Learning to serve and serving to learn.
Tantaka tries to put this idea into practice by inviting university students to consider that service opportunities can be found in all areas of knowledge , and also that it is by developing service initiatives that a deep and valuable education can be gained. For this reason, the activities of volunteer activities are complemented by training courses.
These courses are a tool that allows the volunteer to acquire all the necessary knowledge to develop a solidary experience during the university years.
Three training courses are organised during the academic year:
In the 2015-2016 academic year, 20 and 28 people received training at volunteer activities Social and Cooperation at development respectively. The III Edition of Capacitarse para entender la Discapacidad was attended by more than 385 people.
In the 2016-2017 academic year, 26 and 73 people received training at volunteer activities Social and Cooperation at development respectively. The IV Edition of Training to Understand Disability was attended by more than 443 people.
In the 2017-2018 academic year, 49 and 132 people received training at volunteer activities Social and Cooperation at development respectively. The V Edition of Training to Understand Disability was attended by more than 465 people.
In the 2018-2019 academic year, 54 and 138 people received training at volunteer activities Social and Cooperation at development respectively. The VI Edition of Capacitarse para entender la Discapacidad was attended by more than 500 people.
In the 2019-2020 academic year, 66 and 107 people received training at volunteer activities Social and Cooperation to development respectively. The VII Edition of Training to Understand Disability was attended by more than 570 people.
