training online in Christian Morals
The training permanent program in Christian Morality, offered by the high school Superior of Religious Sciences of the University of Navarra, is offered to all those interested in knowing well, in a scientific, argued and practical way, Christian morality, following the teachings of the Catholic Church.
It can be of interest to parents, priests, educators, pastoral agents or catechists; to anyone who wishes to deepen their knowledge of Christian moral truths in order to live them and transmit them in today's society. In this program we study not only the fundamentals of morality, but also the concrete problems that most frequently affect people's daily lives.
These programs of study lead to the obtaining of a degree scroll of the University of Navarra, which is governed by the Organic Law of Universities 2/2023. Therefore, it does not correspond to any of the academic Degrees that are conferred according to the current ecclesiastical legislation.

DURATION OF THE programs of study: The maximum duration of the Program is 2 years to complete the 8 subjects. It may be extended to one more year in duly justified cases, with the approval of the board Board of Directors of high school.

SUPPORT FROM TUTOR staff . Students will be accompanied by a tutor who will guide them throughout the course, guide them and provide support for any queries they may have, both by telephone and email.

OBTAINING THE certificate: approve the subjects (only requirement)
Methodology
Online methodology. The method of study and work are flexible and adapted to the time needs of each student, based on the assessment continuous (activities such as tests, exercises, online classes, etc.) and the final examination online.

Prof. Mr SERGIO SÁNCHEZ- MIGALLÓN - CV
Ethics is the philosophical reflection on the set of truths or evidences necessary to live morally, in a humanly dignified way. Truths which, by the way, we already possess in a latent way. In this way, ethics strives to illuminate - illuminate and at the same time bring to light - these truths in themselves, stimulating originally the study of the whole of Philosophy and openness to any Revelation.

Prof. D. ENRIQUE MOLINA - CV
Fundamental Moral Theology is that part of Moral Theology which, with the light of reason and faith, attempts to study in depth the foundations of the moral teachings of Christ and his Church, in order to present them in a systematic and reasoned way. This subject devotes its study precisely to these foundations, which establish the basic criteria for all the other aspects of Moral Theology.

Prof. HÉLIO TADEU LUCIANO DE OLIVEIRA - CV
The Morality of the person is a part of Moral Theology that reflects on the human person insofar as he or she is called to do good, to attain perfection and holiness through human and supernatural virtues. In this subject the fundamental human virtues are studied concretely: prudence, fortitude and temperance (justice is the subject of another subject: Social Morality), and other related virtues.

Prof. JUAN TEJERO
As a whole, the subject studies the relationship between man and God. After a general introduction on the importance of the theological virtues in the Christian life, subject is divided into four parts. Three of them correspond to each of the theological virtues: the nature of the virtue, its relationship with other virtues, its practical exercise and the problems it poses, possible attacks and dangers against it. A fourth is on other related virtues, particularly the virtue of religion and the virtue of humility.

Prof. D. ANTONIO PARDO - CV
This subject, after a detailed treatment of the anthropological principles that underpin the ethics of human life, pays particular attention to some of the most current debates in our societies and cultures: the human embryo, financial aid to human fertility, reparative medicine, certification of death for the use of transplants, euthanasia, palliative care, etc.

Prof. D. JOSÉ MARÍA PARDO - CV
The present subject, has three main objectives:

Deepen the knowledge of the nature of human sexuality, marriage and the family.

To help identify the roots of the current crisis in human sexuality, marriage and the family.

To help answer current questions on these issues from approach multidisciplinary .

Prof. RODRIGO MUÑOZ - CV
Social morality seeks to make explicit the practical demands of Christian life in society. More than a set of rules or norms of conduct, morality is concerned with the unfolding of Christian identity through free action. To this field belongs the social doctrine of the Church, which analyses the ethical demands of life in society on the basis of revelation and with the help of financial aid of the social sciences.

Prof. HÉLIO TADEU LUCIANO DE OLIVEIRA - CV
The subject presents an eminently practical profile with the aim of learning to assess, through a collection of varied cases, the main moral issues of current importance. The cases are accompanied by an academic guide , some readings from reference letter and the fundamental criteria for their resolution.
Admission
The enrollmentis carried out by academic year according to the subjects enrolled in both semesters (September and February). The enrollmentcan be adapted to the subjects considered, according to their real availabilityfor study, by each academic year.
The price of each subject is calculated according to the number of ECTS credit:
