requirements
Seminarians, clerics, members of institutes of consecrated life and members of societies of apostolic life must present written permission to attend the corresponding programs of study , granted by their own Ordinary or Superior.
Priests must present a written document certifying that they are in a position to carry out the pastoral work proper to their priestly status during the period of schooling.
Admissions Office to the Basic Cycle
To be able to start the programs of study corresponding to the Basic Cycle, it is necessary to have C 2nd of high school diploma and accredit having passed the University Entrance Exams or other equivalent programs of study that allow access to the Spanish University, or having passed the tests that are established in the case of those over 25, 40 or 45 years of age without sufficient degree program .
Non-Spaniards must accredit that they possess the programs of study required for admission to the civil university in their own country.
Admissions Office to licentiate degree
To start the licentiate degree at Canon Law (postgraduate/Master's Degree) it is necessary to prove that you have completed the Basic Cycle or that you have completed the institutional ecclesiastical programs of study completed in a duly recognised centre of the Catholic Church.
Admissions Office to doctorate
To access the programs of study of doctorate it is necessary to accredit that you are in possession of the degree scroll of graduate in Canon Law (postgraduate/Master's Degree).
Application for admission
The Admissions Office at School should be requested through portal miUNAV.
Candidates to study the Basic Cycle (2 courses, 120 ECTS credit):
Copy of the card that accredits having passed the University entrance exams or another degree scroll that allows access to the University, or having C the test for over 25, 40 or 45 year olds without degree program sufficient.
In the case of foreign students, certificate of the programs of study studied in which, in addition, it is accredited that these programs of study qualify them for access to the University of their own country.
Candidates to study the licentiate degree/Postgraduate (3 courses, 180 ECTS credit):
The certificate of programs of study which expressly states the grade obtained in each of the subjects that make up the Basic Cycle or the institutional programs of study .
Candidates for doctorate:
The certificate of programs of study of the licentiate degree -extended by subjects- and the degree scroll of graduate in Canon Law.
The candidate at doctorate will certify your ability to translate texts in the modern languages required for the work of doctorate.
Admission is granted on the basis of academic record, the results of possible entrance examinations and additional data (aptitudes, geographical origin, age, etc.), which enable a fair order of priority to be established among applicants.
Recognition of previous studies
Students admitted to the School who come from other Centres, who have studied programs of study that correspond, in whole or in part, to the curriculum of programs of study of the School, will be able to validate the programs of study made of agreement with the general canonical norms and the Statutes of the School. They must apply for validation by uploading the certificate of programs of study with their grade and the programme of the subjects taken that they wish to validate qualification.
