Creation, development and adaptation of entertainment formats and programs

Through the writing of scripts and the production of their projects, students in the 3rd year of Audiovisual Communication study the subject "Entertainment Programs" with Enrique Guerrero.

Everything students see in theory, they then apply at internship. They learn about creative trends, legal protection, economic viability, pre-production, recording and post-production, and technological innovation, while creating entertainment products.

HOW ARE THEY ORGANIZED?

The class becomes a major producer of audiovisual entertainment content divided into groups, each led by an executive producer. Its goal is to develop an original, innovative and quality entertainment format and produce its pilot program.

Your entertainment products have to entertain the viewer and bring an improvement to current television. They must also be informative, i.e., the audience must learn something.

The special event of this subject is the "EnterSTREAMent", in which one of the groups produces live, via YouTube, the premiere program of the pilots of the other teams.

This is one of the main streaming platforms for live broadcasting: many influencers broadcast their content through it. In addition, it offers voting systems that allow to choose the pilot program that has been most liked. The idea is that students learn to interact, not only among themselves, but also with the audience.

Does an idea or the way it is sold matter more?

Show and Sell is the ultimate talent show for entertainment, where each contestant is an executive producer who must present the pilot of his or her show and convince a demanding television network to commission it. With only their wits, their wit and an unshakable faith in their project, the brave contestants must impress the relentless and ruthless host, the owner of the network, with a sales speech in just a few seconds. But with fun obstacles along the way that relate to the theme of each pilot. The obstacles will show that selling an idea is not so easy because there will always be unforeseen events, which in this case will be the amusing challenges imposed by the presenter. 

The presenter will evaluate the sales pitches at his staff s discretion and eliminate two contestants, leaving three finalists who will be chosen by the public vote. The audience has the final say with their vote, live and direct, from anywhere. Who is the most Pass to sign with the network?

Space LympicsSpacelympics is a game show where four contestants participate in a common area , disguised as astronauts. Three of them are professionals in the area and one of them is not. The contestants are subjected to three challenges that test their strategies and skills to prove that they are experts in the topic, and among them they must find the impostor.

Timeless Art

What mark does a work of art leave on you? Timeless Art is an informative program that brings the culture and art of Spain closer to the popular public. It combines classic elements of information with a fun experiment that enlivens learning. An intellectual presenter accompanies an art expert through the most emblematic museums in Spain.

Two random visitors to the museum chosen in each program must draw the work of art that has had the greatest impact on them within a time limit. Only three minutes, a canvas, an acrylic marker and without being able to see their chosen work, the participants put the expert against the ropes, who has to guess what the recreated work is and explain its most characteristic elements.

Does everyone look at the same thing when admiring art? What makes a work recognizable? That is the question. Each chapter, different museums, different works and different visitors. It's not just a matter of guessing, but of knowing how to explain why each work makes an impact.

How far can food take you?

Imported is a gastronomic travelogue where culture is experienced through the palate. It is a unique program that explores the connection between two distant lands united by history, where both culinary traditions merge to create a single dish.

What would happen if we combined a Valencian paella with carne al pastor?

Each episode takes the presenter to discover a new corner of the world without leaving the country. With his "world suitcase", a symbol of gastronomic travel, he arrives at a local restaurant. There, a chef reveals his signature dish and selects five essential ingredients. Subsequently, the presenter submission the suitcase to him to pack his ingredients and embark together on the "journey" to a new culinary destination, where a chef carrying foreign flavors awaits them. In this meeting, both chefs combine their techniques and cooking secrets to face the challenge of "La Mixtura", a creation that celebrates what unites us beyond borders. Under the bell hides its revelation. The dish is presented and tasted by the chefs. As the season progresses, the presenter stamps his gastronomic passport that is filled "bite by bite", leaving a record of all the "destinations visited" and the novel mixtures created in his journey.

Eating at the moviesIs it possible to transform a movie dish into a real one? Comer de cine is an informative program in which a couple of cooks composed by a grandfather and his grandson face a great challenge: to recreate the dish of a cartoon movie.

The film must have an emotional bond for both. The dish is prepared without a recipe. In each chapter, the dish and, therefore, the cooks change. Taking the chosen film as a starting point, the couple chooses from among various delicious ingredients, the ones they think are necessary for the recipe. Then, they prepare the dish as a team. An adventure that leads them to enjoy their childhood in the company of their loved ones.

Accompanied by a cook with experience in cooking programs, they will experience firsthand what it feels like to be inside a movie.

MaquillARTEMaquillARTE is a cosmetics contest that sample how makeup can be harder than it looks. In each episode, two aesthetics professionals compete to create the best transformation of their model, based on two conditioning factors: the public and artificial intelligence. Firstly, the predisposed public, through social networks, has the great opportunity to define the theme on which each episode is based: worker, painter, .... On the other hand, based on this theme, the witty presenter generates, with artificial intelligence, the image that the make-up artists must copy on their poor models.

All this in a thirty-minute degree program against the clock, in which the make-up artists are forced to use their creativity, technique and talent to face three unexpected challenges that the presenter puts in their way, in order to achieve the best transformation. Finally, the winner, determined by the presenter himself, receives a generous check for one thousand euros.

Could an adventure reality show win over a program where LA is dominant? Plano Maestro is the first and only talent show for television program creators. It is a "program of programs," where five of the country's top entertainment content creators compete for a spot on television. The director who submits the best pilot is the winner. The award? A briefcase containing a document to be signed with a network inside and, thus, give the opportunity to produce their own show. But... Who decides which is the best project?

A demanding jury formed by three professionals evaluates their ideas together with the greatest judge of all times, the audience. Among the jury is an individual that no one expects... Kermit the Frog! A muppet who, as the protagonist and participant of many hours in the world of entertainment, judges each project. Accompanied by two other professionals of the sector, where one of them, as a special guest, will vary each program. In addition, through a secret ballot, the directors evaluate the work of their competitors. The votes of the directors, the audience and the public are accumulated in a ranking that indicates which project is in the lead.

So, can an adventure reality show beat a program where AI is dominant? This question can only be answered by Plano Maestro, where creativity reigns supreme and drives young creators who will shine tomorrow. Are you afraid of success?

Welcome to Craft Attack, the exciting talent show where creativity becomes an epic battle! In each episode, two craft enthusiasts compete from the same concept to create against the clock a work of art with budget limited. After the choice of materials and after a series of dynamics that can help or hinder them in the elaboration of the craft, they are judged by an art critic who decides who is the deserving winner of the golden mallet, which is used to smash their opponent's work.

In each episode, the presenter offers an illustration or reference letter for the contestants to use as the basis for the craft. Afterwards, the contestants buy the materials with a minimum budget (10 euros) to materialize their ideas; from glassblowers to origami enthusiasts. On two occasions they have the opportunity to spin a roulette wheel that influences positively or negatively the development of their handicraft. Throughout development the contestants feel the threat of the weather and the golden mallet, which can ruin their work.

Once the time is up, an art expert judge decides which craft is the winner. The presenter hands the golden gavel to the winner, who smashes the loser's work. But this is where the real excitement begins: throughout the creation phase, the contestants face a series of unexpected twists and turns. A roulette wheel decides their fate, giving them advantages, such as "loose hands" to steal materials from the opponent, or disadvantages, such as working "blind" or with only one hand. Chaos is guaranteed with surprises such as the "crazy party" that will make the contestants lose their attention! In addition, there is the figure of the meteorite, which can be thrown at one of the contestants in order to destroy his work halfway through!

Finally, the moment of truth arrives: the jury's evaluation , which will decide which of the creations deserves the degree scroll masterpiece. The winner not only gets the glory, but also has the power to destroy the loser's work. Who wins this battle of creativity and skill guide ? Get ready to witness exciting moments, unexpected surprises and mind-blowing crafts in Craft Attack!
 

 "A Través del Cristal" is a new competition docushow where two "foodie influencers" travel to the best wineries around the territory to compete against each other to challenge their tasting skills in front of their own communities of followers. Upon arrival, they enjoy the winemaking landscapes and learn more about the processes from the experts... But not everything is so easy. During the visit, they learn the secrets of each phase by facing creative, cultural and physical challenges. Overcoming or not these challenges will make competing in the last test of each program, the blind tasting, more or less difficult to detect the wine of the winery. In each program, one foodie is the winner and his or her score is added to the season's ranking that decides which of them is the foodie with the most developed taste and therefore the best prescriber of gastro content.
 

Generaciones Unidas is an innovative entertainment program that delves into the richness of intergenerational differences through constructive conflict. In this unique space, four participants representing different generations come together to have candid conversations, debate provocative questions and share emotional and laughter-filled moments.

The goal is to explore and expose the varied life experiences and world views among children, youth, adults and grandparents. The format of the program involves posing a series of questions related to an assigned topic . Each question challenges the participants, pushing them to their
and encouraging them to reflect on their perspectives.

The ultimate reward of Generations United lies not only in the valuable life lessons gained, but also in the laughter shared and the experiences that enrich each participant.

The program seeks not only to highlight differences, but also promote understanding and mutual respect through dialogue. Generations United becomes a space where the diversity of opinions and experiences is celebrated. Participants and the public are provided with a unique opportunity to learn about, and enjoy, the diverse perspectives that each generation brings to the world.
 

 In the opposite field we put to test the ADAPTABILITY of athletes to other disciplines through a dynamic talent show. Semi-professional and charismatic athletes exchange their respective disciplines for a day, to face the challenges of a sport different from their own and put to test their abilities and skills through a circuit of different exercises. Two aspirants duel in each episode with the goal of overcoming the various phases until they reach the grand finale, goal .

The 1001 deaths of Paco is a peculiar mystery gameshow: Paco, the charismatic presenter and protagonist, has died and finds himself trapped in a limbo as he is unable to remember the events that led to his death. Paco seeks the financial aid of three people with a detective complex who join forces to help him remember the reason for his death and get his soul to be free and reincarnated, in order to get Paco's reward. However, Paco is a bit of a jinx. His death is recurrent (he'll be fine, don't worry) and therefore in each episode the contexts, scenarios, aesthetics, objects and accidents will be different. In the same way, in each episode, Paco will bring different contestants who will try to find out why he died that time. Will they be able to solve the enigma behind Paco's death?
