award Luka Brajnovic
The award Luka Brajnovic Communication Award was established in 1997 by the School Communication Department. The award honours the name, figure and career of Mr. Luka Brajnovic, who died on 8 February 2001. A Croatian journalist, writer and poet who settled in Spain after the Second World War, he taught more than thirty generations of journalists at the University of Navarre and was the author of the first guide on Information Ethics written in Spanish language .
The award is awarded to those professionals in the world of communication whose careers have been distinguished by a solid defence of the dignity of people and the human values of freedom, tolerance and solidarity.
