The School of Communication committee advisor School of Communication an advisory body whose mission statement attend School’s leadership team by providing strategic guidance and expert advice on core topic issues core topic its development. It aims to serve as a bridge between the School and society, channeling social aspirations and needs to which the University can contribute.
The committee composed of professionals and academics of recognized national and international standing, who serve in an honorary capacity for a three-year term, holding regular meetings and working in close partnership the faculty’s board .
JAIME ABELLO
Director of the Gabo Foundation
Jaime Abello (Barranquilla, 1958) is a co-founder and, for more than twenty years, director of the Gabo Foundation, an institution he created alongside award Gabriel García Márquez with the goal offering training workshopsinternship fostering journalistic excellence. Before joining the Foundation, he directorGeneral Manager Telecaribe, a public regional television station in the Colombian Caribbean, from 1990 to 1995.
JAVIER BARDAJÍ

Javier Bardají (Barcelona, 1966) is the CEO of Atresmedia Corporación, a member of its Executive Committee, and a trustee of the Atresmedia Foundation. Carlos Chaguaceda Álvarez (León, 1966) is a journalist and an expert in communication and marketing, graduate Information Sciences from the Complutense University. Since 2018, he has served as the director of communications for the Prado Museum. He has previously served as director communications for Coca-Cola Spain, director of tourism for the Community of Madrid, and Brussels correspondent for Antena 3, in addition to being the author of several books on communication.

Chantal Delsol (Paris, 1947) is a philosopher, historian of political thought, and novelist. She holds a Ph.D. in Literature from Marc Bloch University and is a professor at the University of Marne-la-Vallée, where she founded the Hannah Arendt Institute in 1993. In 2007, she was elected a member of the French Academy of Moral and Political Sciences, serving as its president in 2015. She is also noted for her work as a columnist for the newspapers Le Figaro and Valeurs actuelles.

Mónica Herrero (Barbastro, 1975) is a tenured professor at the School of Communication. She holds Master's Degree average from the University of Stirling (2000) and a Diploma in General Administration PDG) from IESE (2015). She has completed several research fellowships, notably at the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism at the University of Oxford during the 2017–2018 academic year. She served as Associate Dean for Student Affairs at the School of Communication 2004 to 2008, and as Dean of the School from June 2008 to June 2017.
