Scholarship and Financial Aid

Thanks to the contributions of many people, companies, and institutions, the Alumni Scholarship Program allows students with excellent academic records in high school and financial difficulties to study at the University of Navarra.

Apply for your Alumni Scholarship in three steps:

  1. Apply for admission via miUNAV.

  2. Request the Study of Cost and Scholarships in the Portal.

  3. Once you request the Study of Cost and Scholarships, in the provisional result that you see on your screen, if you meet the requirements established in the regulations, you will have the link to the online form of Alumni Scholarships so that you can complete the application.

The deadline for receipt of applications is 00:00 peninsular time.

2nd term: from December 17, 2020 to March 3, 2021, with resolution on March 26, 2021.

3rd term: from March 4 to April 27, 2021, with resolution on May 21, 2021.

Applications after April 27, 2021 will not be accepted.

Applications for higher courses (access, renewal and recovery)

Single term: from May 1 to 31, 2021, with resolution before August 1, 2021.

Regulations

The University of Navarra Science and Talent Scholarship program is aimed at those students who wish to pursue their undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Navarra and who, having an excellent academic record, cannot formalize their enrollment due to their economic situation.

Request a Scholarship for Science and Talent for the first time: 

  1. Apply for admission in miUNAV.

  2. Request a Cost and Scholarship Study in the portal. 

  3. Once you have done this and if you meet the requirements you will be offered the option of applying to this scholarship. 

  4. Through the miUNAV portal, in the Help/Contact menu, write a brief paragraph (300 words approx.) explaining why you have chosen the University of Navarra and the Degree of your choice and why you are requesting this scholarship. We will take into account an explanation of the professional path you wish to pursue once you finish your studies.

  5. We will obtain the rest of the documentation through your Cost and Scholarship study.

Students of the School of Sciences of the University of Navarra who during the 2020-21 academic year have been admitted to the UNIVERSITY OF NAVARRA SCIENCE AND TALENT SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM, may continue to enjoy the assistance in 2021-2022, provided that they meet the following criteria

  1. Pass all the subjects in which they register for the 2020-2021 academic year between the first and second calls, and obtain a minimum average grade of 7 out of 10 in that course.
  2. Continue to comply with the economic requirements established to access the Program.
  3. Send through the miUNAV website (Help/Contact menu) the 2019 Income Tax Return indicating that the Science and Talent Scholarship is being renewed.

Deadlines

Single deadline dor appl: from July 1 to July 15, 2021.

The School of Engineering of the University of Navarra (Tecnun), announces the Second Edition of the Scholarship Program for Talent from Gipuzkoa to pursue their undergraduate studies during the 2021-2022 academic year.

This aid is intended for students with tax residence in Guipúzcoa who wish to study at TECNUN, and will be applied by reducing the registration fee. The amount will be calculated individually depending on the student's situation, and can cover up to 40% of the cost of registration.

Documentation

  • To access the Program it is necessary to apply for admission to the School of Engineering through the miUNAV portal, and complete the Study of Costs and Scholarships throughout the process.

    Through the Help/Contact menu of the miUNAV portal, you must provide the following documentation:

    Brief report explaining the reasons why you need this scholarship.

    Income tax return for the years 2018 and 2019 for all family members who have submitted it. In case of not making the declaration, provide a statement from a public accountant or notary indicating the income received by the family unit in those years.

    The scholarship is applied for at the beginning of the studies at Tecnun. It cannot be applied for once the student is in higher education.

    The amount of the scholarship granted will be applied at the time of registration once it has been verified that the requirements of average grade, residence and renewal, if any, have been met.

The income per capita in the last 3 years should not exceed 18,000 euros.

Minimum average grade in high school

GPA in the last two years of highschool should be an 8.5 or above.

Compatibility

The TECNUN Gipuzkoan Talent Scholarship is compatible with other scholarships as long as it does not exceed 70% of the tuition cost. It is compatible with any discount that the applicant may obtain (large family, discount for honorary registration, son or daughter of an employee...etc...)

It is not compatible with the University of Navarra Alumni Scholarship or the TECNUN Mobility Scholarship.

The scholarship is applied for at the beginning of the studies at TECNUN. It cannot be applied for once the student is in higher education.

Renewal of the scholarship

 

  • It is necessary to request the renewal of the scholarship at the end of each course.

The call for scholarship applications Don Ernesto Fernández Holmann - University of Navarra has as goal to make it possible for students from Nicaragua, with lack of economic resources, to attend programs of study of Degree or Master's Degree at the University of Navarra.

Expenses borne by it: 

Scholarships will be granted for a personalized amount, which will be established by the committee for the selection of scholarship recipients of this call, after an analysis of the economic status of the future student, carried out by the Financing Office of the programs of study of the University of Navarra. This scholarship can be used to cover both the costs of enrollment and accommodation, although it must first cover the total cost of enrollment.

TECNUN School of Engineering at the University of Navarra has launched its second edition of mobility scholarships for degree programs for the academic year 2021-2022.

This scholarship is for students who live away from home during the academic year and is applied to decrease the cost of registration fees. The amount is calculated on a case-by-case basis depending on the situation of each applicant and can lead to a maximum discount of 40% on tuition fees.

To apply for this scholarship it is necessary to apply for admission to the School of Engineering via the portal miUNAV and complete a Personalized Cost and Scholarship Analysis.

Through the Help/Contact menu on the miUNAV portal, you must provide the following documentation:

  • Brief report explaining the reasons why you require the scholarship.

  • Income tax returns for 2018 and 2019 from all the members of the family who have presented it. If no such returns are available, submit a statement from a public accountant or notary indicating the income received by the household in those years.

The scholarship granted will be applied at registration once all the prerequisites have been met regarding average grade, residence and renewal where applicable.

The School of Medicine of the University of Navarra announces the Program of
Jiménez Vargas Scholarship Program, for students with excellent academic transcript at high school diploma and economic difficulties to attend programs of study of Degree in Medicine at the University. Students who access the Program will be able to enjoy the financial aid every year as long as they comply with the requirements renewal of the scholarship established in the corresponding rules and regulations .

Scholarships and grants from public organizations and other institutions

Scholarship description

The Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, through its general call for scholarships, grants aid to national students for both official undergraduate and graduate degrees. It is normally processed in the month of September. Families with fiscal domicile in the Basque Country are excluded from this call, as they have their own call for applications.

Definition of the scholarship

ONCE Foundation promotes, together with the University of Navarra and Carlos III University, the Alumni Scholarships program for the realization of programs of study of Degree for people with disabilities, which will allow them to cover the costs of enrollment and accommodation if they reside outside their usual residence.

These scholarships are aimed at students with disabilities who wish to study at Degree at the University of Navarra or Carlos III University, and who would not be able to do so without financial aid, so that through their studies and research they can contribute to improving our society.
