International Communication Club
Professor manager: María Fernanda Novoa
Openness to the world is fundamental for communication. This was clear to group of students from different Degrees who saw the need for a forum in Fcom to discuss global issues from a closer perspective. They observed that there was a lot of uncertainty among university students about the information they were receiving and they needed conceptual keys to help them understand what was happening in the world.

WHAT IS IT?
The International Communication club was born in 2022, as result of a synergy between the Journalism, Audiovisual Communication and International Relations careers. Its colloquiums, which bring together expert, testimonial and journalistic voices, address complex global situations from different angles.requirements? Being open to the world and wanting to understand different realities. In the long term, they hope to be able to manage more dialogue and discussion meetings, and thus reach more people and raise awareness on issues of international interest.
GOALS
Their purpose can be summarized in the three steps they follow to organize their public-facing activities:
1. Select a country and explore the geopolitical keys to its status.
2. Know the position of the press.
3. Recognize representations of that nation in audiovisual fiction.
