1. What are you working on right now?
I am currently work at Loewe in the marketing department , as Wholesale & License marketing supervisor. In my current position I am in charge of negotiating and managing marketing actions with our wholesale clients, specifically with those in the American market. In addition to this, I also work closely with our licensees (Thelios and Loewe perfumes) overseeing all their communications and marketing plans on a global level.
2. What do you like most about your work?
What I love about my work is that it is due to society. Fashion is a response to everything that happens, it's on the agenda. It's about people, so being informed about what's happening culturally on a global level is essential to understand it. I like that this makes the work very changeable, and that we are constantly adapting based on what is happening. Also, something I really appreciate about my work is working with people from all over the world, making the relationships much more enriching.
3. What do you remember about your training at the School?
The School made me really know what fashion is and made me grow a thirst to know more, to travel, to learn. That's where it all began. I remember those years with great affection and ambition.
4. What has helped you the most in your professional career?
I think that maybe all those skills that you build up during your time at university. Fcom has subjects that really should be essential for any person: public speaking, negotiation, creativity... it makes you discover yourself. Undoubtedly that is what I would highlight the most, in addition to everything you learn and the close ties you build, both with students and professors.
5. What committee would you give to a student who is now studying at the School?
To make the most of every minute. I feel that this has been said to all of us at some point, but it is something that you never realize until it happens... and that is when you regret it. We are fortunate that fcom always brings you extraordinary people to listen to and learn from. Also to make yourself known to your peers. Most people at fcom are passionate about communications, people and stories... besides surely having a lot in common with them, over the years you will surely contact a former class, either for a job topic or to launch a common project ! You should never lose track of anyone.
