Alberto |
This documentary is the tool Juan uses to get to know his older brother, Alberto, better. Alberto was adopted by Juan's parents when he was not yet born, and seems to suffer from something similar to an Autism Spectrum Disorder that, until today, has not been identified with certainty. These and other obstacles make it difficult for Juan to have a close relationship with his brother. In this learning process, Juan turns to the family file , his mother's voice, his sister and a tutor to try to find the formula to connect with Alberto. The short documentary portrays the real process by which Juan begins to learn to love his brother.

The red-eared boy |
In a corner of the forest, a child plays and learns to whistle among trees and parrots. He grows up. One day he discovers the fire and runs home to tell his mother. But when he sees her frail, his excitement dies away, as if the air no longer has any taste. Without her knowing it, illness is looming over her home.
Mother, in a weak voice, takes him by the hand and, in front of the fire in the fireplace, tells him about a bush that burns without burning, that gives life instead of consuming. The child, with an anguished soul, curls up in his bed, convinced that he must find it, that bramble in the nearby forest. But as he dreams of being great, the fire ravages everything around him.
