Elena Hernando Gonzalo
director General Manager of the Lázaro Galdiano Foundation

She holds a degree in Geography and History from the Complutense University of Madrid and is a civil servant of degree program of the Senior Corps of Civil Administrators of the State.

After holding various positions at work in the General State Administration, in 1999 she began working at the Ministry of Culture where she was in charge of setting up the contact Cultural Point in Spain for the EU's Culture 2000 Program. She was later appointed Deputy Director General for the Promotion of Fine Arts, a position she held for almost a decade. Currently, as Director General Manager of the Lázaro Galdiano Foundation, she is in charge of the Museum's management , the Library Services, the file and the edition of the Goya Magazine.
